Why Raw?
Because dogs are carnivores. And carnivores don't thrive on corn syrup, soy meal, and artificial preservatives. They thrive on real food — the way nature intended.
Six Reasons to Make the Switch
Biologically Appropriate
Dogs evolved as carnivores over thousands of years. Their digestive systems are built for raw meat, organs, and bone — not corn, wheat, and soy. Kibble was invented less than 100 years ago for human convenience, not canine health.
No Fillers. Ever.
Commercial dog food is legally allowed to contain rendered by-products, artificial preservatives, and cheap grains as filler. Our food contains exactly what's on the label — human-grade meat, organs, and raw meaty bone. Nothing else.
Shinier Coat & Healthier Skin
The natural fats and oils in raw meat directly nourish your dog's skin and coat. Most raw-fed dogs see a visible difference in coat quality within 2–4 weeks of switching.
Cleaner Teeth Naturally
Chewing raw meaty bone acts as nature's toothbrush. Raw-fed dogs have significantly less plaque, tartar, and dental disease compared to kibble-fed dogs — without a single toothbrushing.
Better Digestion
Raw food is highly digestible. Dogs absorb more nutrition from less food, producing smaller, firmer, less odorous stool. No more mystery ingredients working their way through your dog's gut.
More Energy & Vitality
Real nutrition fuels real performance. Whether your dog is a working breed or a family pet, proper nutrition means better mobility, sustained energy throughout the day, and a more vibrant life.
Raw vs. Kibble
I was skeptical at first. But after 30 days on Raw Inspirations my Rottweiler's coat is incredible, her joints are looser, and she actually finishes her bowl. I'll never go back to kibble.

FAQ
Is raw feeding safe?
Yes — when handled with basic food safety practices. We use human-grade ingredients processed in a USDA-inspected facility. Handle it the same way you'd handle raw chicken in your kitchen: wash your hands, clean surfaces, and store properly.
How much do I feed?
A general guideline is 2–3% of your dog's ideal body weight per day, split into two meals. Active dogs or puppies may need more. We're happy to help you calculate the right amount for your dog — just call or text us.
How do I transition my dog?
Most dogs do best with a cold turkey switch — simply replace kibble with raw. Sensitive dogs can transition over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts of raw into kibble. Some loose stool is normal in the first week as the gut adjusts.
Is raw food more expensive than kibble?
Quality raw food is comparable to premium kibble brands — and you often feed less because of higher digestibility. Factor in fewer vet visits for dental cleanings, skin issues, and digestive problems, and raw typically costs less long-term.
